Joining with the rest of the country and the district of the state, Wokha District organized a mass social/cleanliness drive under Swachhata Hi Seva at Wokha Town on 30th September 2023.

Deputy Chief Minister & Minister of Home, Nagaland Y. Patton joined the District Administration led Deputy Commissioner Ajit Kumar Ranjan, IAS, various offices of the District ,Public and political parties (BJP & NDPP) of the district for the mass cleanliness drive.

Y. Patton says that keeping India clean or Swachhata HI Seva is initiated by Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi to keep our surrounding clean for Healthly Environment.

Y. Patton thanked all the participants and urged that keeping our surroundings clean should be based on daily practices.

            Deputy CM also visited the SP office Wokha and joined the jawans for the cleanliness drive. He inspected the new SP office complex which is currently under construction, also urged and appealed the contractor to complete the building by March 2024 for Inauguration.
