The closing function of the 75th state level Independence Day celebration was held at Nagaland Civil Secretariat Plaza, Kohima. The programme started with prize distribution which was followed by band display by Nagaland Police Central Brass Band PTS and 14th Assam Rifles pipe band. The programme concluded with the Beating of Retreat.

In the march past contingents the 1 Assam Rifles Bn got first position while 15th NAP (IR) Mahila Bn bagged the second position and State Task Force got the third position.
