On the way to Tizu River for site-seeing of Hydro project 42 M/W construction and also to inaugurate Bailey bridge, Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio held a meeting with the leaders of Pungro areas, Government officers and GBs at GA Guest House, Pungro on 28th April 2023.
Chief Minister requested the people to have a mindset of working together as the Government is sincerely working to bring development to the people.
He said government job reservations had been given to strengthen and uplift the people of backward areas and called upon the people to take advantage of it. He said that 42 M/W construction was also taking place as soon as possible which would help improve the economy. He stressed the need to build a town hall and multi-purpose hall for a healthy lifestyle.
Minister for Power and Parliamentary Affairs, K.G. Kenye said that education is the most important part of our lives in order to compete with the rest of the world and strict focus needs to be on this field.
K.G Kenye also maintained that cooperation among the community is a must and called one and all to come together.
"Development is very important in one's life and we should not compromise in this matter, together we can do it, and all sections of the people should come forward," he added.
Advisor for Fire & Emergency Services, Home Guard & Civil Defence, S. Kiusumew Yimchunger said regarding Delimitation 2026 he called upon the leaders and people to take responsibility and cooperation in this field for a better future generation.
