Stepping up measures for prevention and containment of the Corona Virus (Covid-19) pandemic from spreading, trained Community First Responders team, Bhandari block is now pressed with the task of disinfecting all public places at the Bhandari sub division head Quarter.

Utilizing the services of the trained responders on voluntary basis came into effect through an order issued by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Bhandari, Tiameren Chang, NCS, on 14th April 2020.

The team which has in the past engaged it's services along with other volunteering NGOs in sanitizing and disinfecting activities around the town and its adjoining areas will carry out the task of  disinfecting all public places every Wednesday and Saturday in a week.

Wobemo Odyuo, Sanitary Inspector, Community Health Centre (CHC) was assigned with the task of supervising the team's work, as stated by the order.
