The Department of Legal Metrology & Consumer Protection in collaboration with IQAC Wangkhao Government College Mon organized a Consumer Awareness program on 11th Sept 2025 at Wangkhao College with EAC Mon, Er. R Mhao Humtsoe, as a special guest. The program was held under the theme “Legal Metrology & Consumer Protection: The journey towards Viksit Bharat 2047”.

In his speech the special guest emphasized on the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and elaborated on the Consumer Rights to be legally protected and stay empowered with the fast pace changing world. Er. Nganyei Konyak, Sr. Inspector LMCP spoke on the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047 and highlighted the Department’s functions. He also said that every individual should take initiatives to make the goals of inclusive development and empowered themselves for success in their lives.

Er. Nahlem S, JE PWD (R&B) chaired the Program and IQAC coordinator, Honjem K. gave a welcome note. The program concluded with a vote of thanks from Zemyon, LDA LMCP Mon.
