A COPTA (Cigarette and Other Tobacco Act) enforcement drive was conducted at Tizit Town, Mon led by the Additional Deputy Commissioner, Tizit, Relise Sangtam, accompanied by the Consultant, NTCP, Mon,  E. Nyeamying Konyak, DBs and police personnel on 31st October 2025.

The drive focused on ensuring compliance within a 100 metre radius of educational institutions as mandated under the Act. 

The seized Tobacco products were destroyed in presence of Administration and police.
