The 10-day Screen Acting Training, a collaborative effort between the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) and the Department of Information and Public Relations (DIPR), concluded on November 10th, 2023, at the Directorate of IPR in Kohima, Nagaland.
Joint Director of IPR, Asangla Imsong, delivered the concluding remarks, applauding the participants for their dedicated engagement throughout the training period. She expressed optimism about future collaborations and extended gratitude to FTII for their valuable partnership. Imsong also acknowledged Anita Salim, the resource person for the training, concluding the training phase on a positive note.
Imsong took the opportunity to highlight the upcoming Nagaland Film Festival during the Hornbill Festival, in collaboration with the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India. She emphasized the potential for local film enthusiasts to make significant strides in the industry.
Anita Salim, the resource person, expressed her gratitude for the warm hospitality extended by the department. She commended the progress made by the trainees during the program and conveyed that it was a privilege to be part of the training in the state.
Course coordinator and APRO DIPR, Wepre Kronu, expressed gratitude to the participants for their active involvement, attributing their responsiveness to the success of the training. Kronu acknowledged that the resource person not only imparted acting skills but also valuable life lessons. He expressed hope that Anita Salim would leave Nagaland with cherished memories from this enriching experience.
