Minister for Tourism and Higher Education, Temjem Imna Along in his welcome note warmly welcomed the G20 delegates to the Naga Heritage village, Kisama where the Hornbill festival is held every year.

The Hornbill festival has been organized every year by the State government since 2000 under the patronage and visionary leader of the present Chief Minister, Neiphiu Rio, he said. It is also known as the "festival of festivals" with an idea to showcase the unique culture and traditions of the Nagas at a common platform where all the Naga tribes enthusiastically partake with their vibrant culture and traditions during this festival, he added.

The Minister also thanked the delegates for coming to the land of festivals and asked them to enjoy their short stay in Nagaland happily and memorably.

The guests were enthralled with daring and dashing performances by different ethnic tribes with their cultural songs and dances.
