Deputy Chief Minister and Home Minister, Yanthungo Patton was the host of the morning session of the 23rd Hornbill festival at Kisama on 10th December 2022.

Cultural Troupes performed from six districts including Chakhesang, Pochury, Sumi, Kuki, Ao, and Kachari. Chakhesang Cultural Troupe demonstrated the significance of Sűkrűnye and the activities held during the Feast of Merit. They threw a piece of meat to the audience and a lucky person received it adding to the delight of the crowd.

Advisor for Prisons, Printing, and Stationary, H. Haiying, Special Secretary (Home), S.R. Saravan, IPS, and other dignitaries accompanied the Dy. CM.
