In pursuance to the Government of India, Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution letter, the Deputy Commissioner of Dimapur Anoop Khinchi has granted permission for supply of foodgrains under OMSS to charitable/non-governmental organisations etc. engaged in relief operations/running relief camps for migrant labourers/vulnerable groups due to the present lockdown condition.

DC in his Order mentioned that the foodgrain would be supplied at a uniform rate of Rs. 21 per kg for wheat and Rs. 22 per kg for rice and there will be no upper limit for allocation of foodgrain to each such organisation from any FCI depot, however the quantity should not be less than 1 MT at a time. It was also informed that whoever wants to avail the scheme can apply through the office of the Deputy Commissioner Dimapur. 

In another order the DC Dimapur Anoop Khinchi has informed all Administrative Heads of department, Heads of Department and Heads of Offices of the department in the district to be in their respective headquarters from 21st April 2020.

In case of any AHOD/HOD/Head of Offices in the district presently not in his/her respective headquarters have been informed to immediately contact the respective Deputy Commissioner and obtain necessary passes/clearance for proceeding towards his/her headquarters.
