A formal induction ceremony for the Kiphire District Bharat Scouts and Guides took place on August 22, 2023 at the DC conference hall in Kiphire. During the event, DC Kiphire John Tsulise Sangtam was inducted as the District President of the Bharat Scouts and Guides in Kiphire.

Additionally, two individuals were inducted as Vice Presidents: P. Lipichem, Proprietor of Agape Higher Secondary School Kiphire, and Father Rev. Philip Magh, Principal of Loyola Higher Secondary School Kiphire. TR Abraham Sangtam assumed the role of District Commissioner (Scout).

In his address, the newly inducted President commended the efforts of the Kiphire District Bharat Scouts and Guides, highlighting the movement's positive impact. He emphasized that Scouting and Guiding, being voluntary endeavors for the betterment of society, should continue fostering growth with a positive attitude. John Tsulise pledged full support and cooperation for the movement in the days ahead.

The welcome speech was delivered by DEO Kiphire, Deenabandhu Panda, who extended well wishes to the scouts and guides. The induction ceremony was conducted by Inato Sema, DOC(S), and Nyingsuthong Tikhir, DTC (S), spoke about the significance of Scouts and Guides. 

Apenla Pochury performed a special musical number. The event was chaired by Arola, ADOC (G), and Imtinaro Longkumer, DOC (G) delivered the vote of thanks.
