Deputy Commissioner Kiphire, Sarita Yadav IAS and her team visited Pungro on 18th April 2020 to review the preparedness of the Pungro Sub-Division against the pandemic Corona Virus (Covid-19). 

In a brief interacting with the hospital authority, Sarita inquired on the needs and requirement and said that the Government will continue to provide all possible support and help for mitigation and control the disease. She also appealed to all the Doctors, nurse and staffs to be prepared and stay ready. 

ADC Pungro Abhinav Shivam IAS and other officials accompanied DC during the visit of CHC where eight isolation wards have been prepared, and Rest House prepared as quarantine for accommodation upto 20 persons.
