As part of the Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) Campaign and in connection with the forthcoming 14th Nagaland Legislative Assembly election 2023, Mobile Demonstration Van (MDV) was flagged off by Deputy Commissioner & District Election Officer Kohima, Shanavas C, IAS in the DC Office Complex Kohima on 11th January 2023. The demonstration was done at five locations within Kohima town to create awareness of the use of the Electronic Voting Machine (EVM) and Voters' Verifiable Paper Audit Trail (VVPAT). Altogether, 89 (Eighty Nine) electors participated in the awareness programme. Besides, the message on a free and fair election for the upcoming election on NLA 2023 was disseminated in vernacular language.
