In view of the Prime Minister’s interaction with beneficiaries of various government schemes on 31st May 2022 at the DC's Conference Hall, a preparedness meeting was held on 25th May 2022 at the Deputy Commissioner’s Conference Hall, Mokokchung.

Deputy Commissioner briefed the gathering about the purpose of the Prime Minister’s interaction with the beneficiaries of government schemes along with elected representatives, families of freedom fighters, and leaders of the Civil Society Organization as part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. On this occasion, the Prime Minister will also be distributing the 11th installment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi with parallel events organized in KVKs.

DC has informed DIO, NIC & DPO, Mokokchung, EE, Electrical Division, and DPRO Mokokchung to ensure that the assigned duties such as video screening and technical set up, uninterrupted power supply, sound system, and wide publicity of the programme be carried out effectively.

All concerned departments are informed to identify 10-15 beneficiaries for the schemes under their respective departments and to submit their names and details to the office of the Deputy Commissioner, Mokokchung by 27th May 2022. All concerned department officials are informed to make sure that the beneficiaries reached the venue and be seated by 9:00 AM.
