DC Mon, Thavaseelan K, IAS on 25th August 2021 issued a circular notifying that World Resources Institute (WRI) India, a global research organization is inviting online application for the post of Project Associate-Energy. 

Scope of work:

  1. Applicant should have preliminary experience on Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) 
  2. Support in designing the Impact Framework in consultation with project stakeholders. 
  3. Lead and carry out surveys, evaluation and other MEL processes of the baseline study benchmarking, assessments, community mapping etc. 
  4. Monitor and report on the progress of the project. 
  5. Support project implementing agencies towards learning for achieving targettargeted impact. 
  6. Perform other tasks as assigned by the Energy Program Director in India. 

Educational Qualification: Master's Degree (MA, MSc or equivalent) in Development Studies, Economics, Agriculture, Rural Development, Environmental and Sustainability Studies. 

Required expertise and eligibility:

  1. 4+ years of relevant experience in development sector with knowledge of the clean energy sector. 
  2. General experience of working in and around North East India. 
  3. iii.Amenable to travel extensively around the region. 
  4. 2+ years experience of community based research and evaluation studies. 
  5. An interest in problem-focused research with skills in qualitative and/or quantitative research methods. 
  6. An ability to work independently and effectively with minimum supervision and attention to detail. 
  7. Good communication skills. 
  8. Strong listening, verbal and written communication skills in Nagamese and English, Knowledge of Konyak language will be an added advantage. 

Timeframe: 1 year (extendable based on performance and project requirements) 

Remuneration: Potential Salary: 6,50,000 to 8,00,000 INR CTC per annum.
