DC Mon, on 1st November 2021 issued an order for the existing lockdown measures to remain in force in Mon District till 15th December 2021 with further relaxation and re-opening of activities as under:
The conduct of regular classes in all the schools in the rural areas of the District for the students of Class I up to Class IV shall be allowed with effect from 1st November 2021, with 50% attendance, and after obtaining parental consent for the attendance of the students and further subject to adherence to all the provisions of the SOP to be issued by Home Department. 
With regard to urban areas of the District, the schools for the students of Class I upto Class IV will be allowed to open with 50% attendance, after approval by the concerned DTF on Covid-19 where the positivity rate is low, and subject to adherence to all the conditions as applicable for the schools in rural areas as mentioned above in Para (i).
Bus Service, Inter District Bus Service/Taxi and other public transportation shall be allowed to operate beyond 50% and upto 100% capacity, subject to the drivers, attendants and passengers being vaccinated against Covid-19 , or should have taken 1st dose and 15(fifteen) days should have passed since the 1st dose,  and if none of the two aforementioned criteria is fulfilled, the driver/attendant/passenger should carry a Covid-19 negative test report taken through either RT-PCR/TrueNat or CBNAAT with the swab taken for testing not earlier than 72 hours from the date of travel, and further subject to adherence to Covid-19 appropriate behavior and observance of all the relevant SOPs. 
The Night Curfew will stand lifted from 1st November 2021.
The SOP for conduct of regular classes in all the Schools as mentioned in Para (i) and (ii) will be issues by the Home Department shortly.
