Deputy Commissioner, Mon, Ajit Kumar Verma, IAS on 2nd September 2022, launched the Rashtriya Poshan Abhiyaan, Poshan Maah at DRDA Hall, Mon with the theme, ‘Mahila and Swaasthya (Women and Health).

The DC stated that the main objective of the campaign is to spread awareness about proper nutrition for women and children. 

DPO (ICDS) Mon, T. Yanlem gave an introduction on Poshan Maah, and CDPO Wakching, Mhayani read out the Poshan Pledge. CMO, Mon, Dr. Vezokholu gave a presentation on ‘Awareness on menstrual hygiene for AG and women.’ The programme was chaired by CDPO, Mon, H. Laitak and CDPO Phomching, Khonbeni delivered the vote of thanks.
