The District Water and Sanitation Mission (DWSM) meeting was held on 3rd September 2025 at the Chamber of Deputy Commissioner Niuland. DC and Chairman DWSM Niuland, Sara S Jamir while chairing the meeting review of the last DWSM meeting inform the participants that the DWSM meeting will be held every month starting from September 2025.
Sara also reminded the officers concerned to make sure that all the villages government assets are being properly maintained by the village authorities for availing any further government schemes in their village. Executive Engineer Dimapur Rural Division, PHED, Er. Nirie E Nisa, highlighted the challenges, undertaken and success of the department in the district.
JE Kuhuboto, Er. Longchendi Wati Lonchar, delivered the power point presentation which focused on implementation of JAL JEEVAN MISSION (JJM) & SWACHH BHARAT MISSION (SBM) - (G) in the district.
