DC NIULAND SUSPENDS SITE PERMITS

Deputy Commissioner Niuland, Ajit Kumar Verma, IAS in order No. DC- NIU/REV/LR-12/SITE CNCL/2022/87,  dated 10 May 2022, suspended all site permits that were issued without program survey/verification and without due approval from the competent authority within and around the premises of the erstwhile Additional Deputy Commissioner office Niuland, GA Rest house/Quarters and other District Administration buildings under Niuland town. And as per condition No. 02 of the site agreement, the government will take over the land duly allotted to the individual based on the necessity arising for government purposes but no alternative site shall be allotted except in some special category.

The Deputy Commissioner also directed all the site permit holders to surrender the site permit to the DC office at the earliest for examination and necessary proceeding in the matter. Further, any sale/ purchase/gift of the permits is prohibited, and such transaction if any shall be considered null and void.
