Deputy Commissioner, Noklak Hiazu Meru inaugurated OPD center at Sub-Center, High School 'B' Sector, Noklak Town on 18th August 2021. 

Speaking on the occasion, DC stated that, the Sub-center which has been constructed will be used as OPD center for citizens of Noklak.  DC hoped that, the OPD center will serve the people in a better ways in the health sector.

DC mentioned that, during the District Task Force on COVID-19 meeting, the DTF decided to start OPD center at High School B' sector for more health facilities at Noklak. Though Community Health Center (CHC) Noklak is functioning very well but observing that patients are reluctant to get treatment at CHC, Noklak after it has been designated as COVID-19 Hospital and it has become necessary for making this arrangement, DC added.

DC expressed his sincere appreciation to the Senior Medical Officer, Dr. Victor NC and the staff of CHC Noklak for their willingness to serve in this new OPD center. DC requests all medical staff specially nurses to serve sincerely in the service of the people.

The programme was chaired by Senior Medical Officer, CHC Noklak Dr.Victor NC and short speech was delivered by Pushong GB Noklak town. 

The OPD center was dedicated by Pastor A.Penglang, Longdon Baptist Church, Noklak Town.
