Deputy Commissioner Noklak, Hiazu Meru inaugurated Water ATM at Noklak on 06th June 2022 at KSU Office building Noklak.
Speaking on the occasion, Hiazu Meru said the facilities of Reverse Osmosis would help the public of Noklak to get clean and healthy drinking water. The facility can help in addressing the issue of water quality, if any, for time being, and the public was encouraged to avail clean drinking water from the facility. We need to progress with the rest of the world and today is an example of it, DC added.
Meru made a special mention of former Deputy Commissioner Noklak, Reny Wilfred for the initiatives taken in setting up the RO plant at Noklak and also thanked Sampath Kumar, CEO, CSR Head, Cochin Shipyard for taking up the project at Noklak and Uma Preman, Shanti Medical Information Centre for the tireless effort made in bringing the facility to Noklak.
While highlighting the machines, Secretary, RO Plant Committee, P. Shingnya expressed his sincere thanks to the District Administration and all the stakeholders who had contributed to the successful installation of the water treatment plant. Shingnya informed that it was a CSR initiative of Cochin Shipyard Limited.
Earlier, Youth Secretary, KBCA Sanghom pronounced dedicatory prayer and the programme was chaired by President KSU Shangjiu.
