The Deputy Commissioner's Office in Kohima notifies all concerned villages, ward Panchayats, and colonies under Kohima Town that the Assam Rifles will conduct small arms firing at the Firing Range Kohima Garrison from 1st to 31st December 2023. Residents have been advised not to enter the Firing Range or allow cattle grazing in the area during this period.
