Deputy Commissioner, Tuensang, Kumar Ramnikant, IAS has stated that with the announcement of the By-election to the vacancy in the 51-Noksen assembly Constituency in Tuensang District, Nagaland by the Election Commission of India through press note dated 16th march 2021, and in pursuance of the Chief Electoral Officer, Nagaland press release no. ELE CDT - 118/2021 dated March 2021.

            All concerned have been informed that the model code of conduct comes into force with immediate effect throughout Tuensang district. Political parties, intending candidates, government/departments establishment and general public are informed to take note of the same and adhere strictly to the model code of conduct and extend cooperation to the District election machinery to ensure peaceful conduct of the said bye-election.
