Deputy Commissioner Zunheboto in a circular informed that in pursuance of the Home Department letter No. POL/ARMS/12-13 Dated Kohima the 19th April 2022, that the last date for uploading information regarding Arms License to generate Unique Identification Number (UIN) in the National Database of Arms License has been extended till 31st March 2023.

In view of the above extension, all the arms License holders under Zunheboto District without the Unique Identification Number (UIN) are directed to submit their License(s) along with data in the prescribed format to Arms Branch Deputy Commissioner Office, Zunheboto for the generation of Unique Identification Number with following conditions.

1.            Arms Licences should be valid and genuine and issued from this Office.

2.            Licensee should procure the weapon covered by the Arms Licence. 

3.            There should be no adverse remarks against the Licensee.

4.            A new Arms License will be issued against the Old Arms Licence with all the details and UIN generated in the NDAL-ALIS.
