The Covid Care Centre (CCC) and Covid-19 hospital, Longleng was dedicated by Executive Secretary, PBCA, Rev. Tialemba Phom on 26th April 2021 at DIET Building, New Site, Longleng and became officially operational with immediate effect due to increasing Covid-19 cases in the district.

Speaking on the occasion Deputy Commissioner Longleng, M. Shayung Phom appreciated Bhumnyu village for coming forward and supporting the District Task Force without any reservations even as the current Covid Care Centre and Covid-19 hospital which falls under its village land is being operationalized. 

Medical Superintendent, Longleng, Dr. Lhouvizotuo presented the status report of the CCC & Covid-19 hospital and asserted that the Covid-19 hospital has a total capacity of 17 beds, 1 Operation Theatre (OT), 1 Labour Room, 1 Laboratory and 2 ICU beds while the Covid-19 Care Centre has a total capacity of 9 beds.

DPO (RCH & UIP) & District Media Spoke Person for Covid-19 Vaccination, Dr. Imnameren Phom highlighted on the ongoing Vaccination Programme. 

The program was chaired by EAC Headquarter, Longleng Ruokuosetuo Tetso.
