The Chapel Hall of Nagaland Legislators was dedicated and unveiled the plaque by General Secretary NBCC Rev. Zelhou Keyho on 11th December 2022 at Assembly Secretariat Kohima.

Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio in his Speech thanked God for a very special and memorable day and said that it was a long-felt need to have a permanent worship place for the Nagaland Legislators Christian Fellowship (NLCF) which has come to its function. He also said it was due to support and cooperation of all the legislators in making the dreams come true. He extended his gratitude to all the parties involved and that the convention Centre cum Chapel hall was the result of the opposition-less Government and coming together in unity 

While highlighting the details of the construction work, the Chief Minister said that the site selection was done on 21st October 2021 and the construction works started on 1st November 2021 which to 13 months and 10 days to complete the Chapel Hall. While thanking all those involved in making this possible said that the present society was divided and the only platform to come together was through religion and as Christians, he urged everyone to forgive one another and unite to work for peace in our land 

Delivering christmas greetings to the gathering, Deputy CM Yanthungo Patton urged everyone to celebrate in a true Christian spirit by spreading the message of love, joy, and peace even to non-Christians and urged every section of the society irrespective of political affiliations, organizations to keep aside their differences and focus in bringing long-lasting peace and harmony in our land and said that Government of the day is committed and has been working hard to bring early solution of Indo- Naga Political issue as a facilitator 

Sharing the Christmas message, Rev. Catherine Longkumer said that the advent of Christmas taught us how to walk faithfully throughout our life and the time of preparation for the arrival of christ who would bring joy, love, and peace. Adding that celebrating Christmas would mean nothing without knowing and realizing his life, death, and his resurrection. She exhorted the gathering that real joy comes from the heart that is connected with God which is much deeper and richer through the spirit.

Special Songs were presented by the Legislators Band, Sumi Baptist Church Kohima, and Nagaland Civil Service Band 

Christmas Greetings were also shared from J. Alam Chief Secretary Nagaland and Sharingain Speaker, Nagaland Legislative Assembly

Scripture reading by Dr. Meribeni Odyuo and benediction was pronounced by Zelhou Keyho General Secretary, NBCC
