Department of Horticulture Longleng organized a “two-day State Level Conference and Seminar on Micro-irrigation” under Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchai Yojana (PMKSY) 2021-22 at Longleng District Headquarters on 24th & 25th, November 2022 at VDB conference hall Longleng. 

            The event was the first of its kind, organized by the Departments in Longleng, and was attended by a total of 122 farmers who were the beneficiaries of the PMKSY projects. Amongst the attendees, ten participants were from Mon and five each from Tuensang and Mokokchung. Recha Imchen, from District Horticulture Office Mokokchung, was the Resource Person during the Technical Session on both days. The farmers actively participated during the discussion hour between the farmers and subject experts.
