Deputy Commandant, S. Laopa Konyak (VG) Mon informed that the Nagaland Village Guard Mon expressed appreciation to various authorities and stake holders for extending necessary help and support in the fight of COVID-19 Pandemic :the Commissioner, Nagaland for providing PPE kits and additional Ration Allowances (RA) to VGs on duty; the Deputy Commissioner, Mon for providing 44 (forty Four) Bags of Rice and 500. Nos of Mask ; the Superintendent of Police, Mon and CMO, Mon for providing 500 pieces and 300 pieces of Mask respectively and Hope Global Ministry, Mon for providing 200 pieces of Mask free of cost.

Further, VG Mon also extended appreciation to Addl. Deputy Commissioner, Tizit who had donated the sum of Rs.5,000/- (Rupees Five Thousand) only to the VGs of Jaboka under its Sub-Division, Various Village Council, KBBB, NGOs and SHGs who have extended their full co-operation to the extent of providing food and drinks to the VGs on duty. The Department also appreciated the VG Officers, JCOs and the entire VG personnel for their relentless duty since 24th March 2020 till date. Further, the VGs in the District have been requested to carry out the assigned duty in the larger interest of general public till further notice.
