The Director General of Police, Nagaland T. John Longkumer, IPS held a meeting on the Law and Order situation in the state and the Election preparedness of the various units of Nagaland Police in a Conference Hall at Rhododendron Hall, Chumoukedima on 17th December 2022.

The conference was attended by Senior Police Officers from PHQ, Commissioner of Police, Dimapur, and all SPs and Commandants. Limasunep Jamir, IPS, Inspector General of Police (Range), and State Police Nodal Officer Elections gave a presentation on election preparedness. Sandeep M. Tamgadge, IPS, Addl. Director General of Police (L & O) and K. Martin Pienyu, IPS, Inspector General of Police (INT) highlighted the Law and Order issue. Renchamo P. Kikon, IPS, Addl. Director General of Police (Adm.) chaired the meeting.
