The monthly meeting of the Dimapur District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) was held on 25th November 2022 in the conference hall of DC Dimapur.

Deputy Commissioner Dimapur, Sachin Jaiswal IAS who is also the vice Chairman of DPDB Dimapur chaired the meeting and welcomed all the members to the meeting.

Sachin reminded the HODs for taking a keen interest in enrollment for CHIMS and for monitoring it personally, stating it to be a beneficial scheme for the Government servants as well as the public. He advised them to contact the nodal officers in case of any difficulties faced.

Further, DC Dimapur asked the HODs to oversee the staffing pattern and regular attendance of their staff as the election was inching closer. He further advised the DEOs/SDEOs to mobilize with the village councils so that ramps are set in place for the convenience of people with disability (PWD) voters. Sachin also requested the concerned departments for putting in extra effort to review electricity and drinking water facilities.

In the meeting, the Board agreed to recommend the proposals for the registration of five societies as all formalities in respect of the societies were found to be proper on verification by the authorized administrative officers. The societies are Nagaland Ambulance Association Dimapur, Golaghat Road Business Welfare Association, Zakiesato colony Dimapur, Faith Hope Love Foundation Thahekhu village Dimapur, Listening station Lingrijan Taxes Colony Dimapur, Wise Nagaland, Rengna colony Dimapur.

As entrusted, the DPO Social welfare department highlighted the activities of the department through a powerpoint presentation.
