Tokheho Yepthomi, Member of Parliament Lok Sabha, Chaired the Mon District Development Coordination and Monitoring Committee (DISHA) meeting on 25th April 2023 at Deputy Commissioner Conference Hall Mon. 

He briefed the members about the purpose of DISHA and urged them to use the government fund and schemes very wisely. He added that as almost all the officers are Nagas, it was a to be in this position to serve our own people. Citing the examples of other neighboring states' developments, he said the district's development works are not satisfactory. He called upon them to fulfill their responsibility by performing their duties with utmost sincerity.

While delivering the welcome address, Deputy Commissioner Mon Ajit Kumar Verma expressed his gratitude to the Member of Parliament Lok Sabha for coming in spite of his busy schedule. He also thanked all the Departments for attending the meeting and also for their Power Points presentations of their DISHA activities.
