Kiphire District Disaster management authority (DDMA) in collaboration with the National Disaster Management Authority, Ministry of Home Affairs held table top exercise meeting on 15th November 2022 at DC's Conference with all the heads of offices.

The meeting was chaired by DC Kiphire, T. Wati Aier. He said earthquakes may happen anytime so he stressed the need to be well prepared and also to impart education to the public on the benefits of planting more trees to tackle natural disasters.

Later, DC informed that the Mock drill will be held on 17th November 2022 at three locations- Government Higher Secondary School, Daily bazaar, and District Agriculture Office Kiphire respectively and in this regard, he requested all the heads of offices to attend the mock drill and perform their assigned duties diligently.
