District Governor, Rotary International, Dist-3240, Rtn. Dr. Mohan S Konwar is scheduled to visit Rotary Club Kohima on 29th October 2021.
The District Governor Rtn. Dr. Mohan S Konwar along with First Lady and Asst. Governor shall arrived at the early part of the day on 29th October 2021 and the 1st Business Session with officials and chair of various committees would be held in the afternoon followed with Club Assembly and the evening session followed with dinner and entertainment at Hotel Japfii, Kohima. President of Rotary Club, Kohima Rtn. Kezhokhoto Savi has requested all the club members to attend the unique official visit of the District Governor keeping in mind the motto of Rotary International – “Service Above Self” which signifies the belief that Rotarians would put their duty to help others before their own needs.
The year’s theme of Rotary International is “Serve to change lives” where a change maker is someone who is taking creative action to solve a social problem and change making involves empathy, thoughtfulness, creativity, taking action and collaborative leadership. On 22nd Oct 2021 the Rotary Club, Kohima donated oxygen concentrators, oximeters, face masks and sanitizers to Community Health Centre, Pfutsero and Primary Health Centre, Khezhakeno both under the district of Phek, Nagaland.
