District Level Committee, for Water and Sanitation for implementation of Jal Jeevan Mission for Phek held its meeting at DC's Conference Hall, Phek on 23rd June 2025.
DC & Chairman of the Committee, Rhosietho Nguori chaired the meeting. He welcomed the members present and informed that the Committee will continue to conduct such meeting quarterly.
According to reports highlighted during the meeting, JJM Projects are being implemented under the department of PHED and Rural Development covering 112 villages in the district.
Executive Engineer PHED, Er. Narisen Jami informed the house that JJM Projects are implemented under the initiatives of WATSAN committees of the respective villages. She updated that, 91 villages are under the supervision of PHED in which 60% of works have been completed and certified by the department.
Project Director DRDA, Phek, Zhoi Lohe informed the house that, JJM Projects in 25 villages are being implemented under the supervision of RD department, where all the 25 projects have been completed successfully.
In his closing remarks, the Chairman asked the line departments to carry out intensive supervision of all implementing projects for successful completion of the works.
