The Department of Health and Family Welfare have brought to the notice that vaccination of the age group 18-44 years will commence only when the State has received the vaccine from the supplier. So far, the State has received a letter from Serum Institute India (SII) stating that it will be supplying 36,580 doses of COVISHIELD.

The State is processing to procure Four Lakhs of doses, to begin its 3rd phase of Covid Vaccination. Though registration in the selfregistration.cowin.gov.in and AarogyaSetu App will continue to register new beneficiaries booking will start only when the State announces the date for commencement of vaccination for the 3rd Phase i.e. 18-44 age group.
