       Rector & Parish Priest Catholic Church, Sechu Zubza, Fr. Nellisseril Joseph, on 25th May 2021 has unconditionally offered the Don Bosco School, Zubza to the DTF Kohima for setting up the COVID-19 CARE CENTRE for the people of Sechu Zubza sub-division. The offer was made to the DTF Kohima through the SDO (C) Sechu Zubza, Tiayanger Jamir in the presence of Medical Officer, Sechu Zubza, village authorities of Sechu Zubza and NGOs. 

       The school building can accommodate 40 beds (20 for men & 20 for women) with in house facility for doctors and nurses round the clock. 

      The SDO (C) expressed his profound gratitude to the Don Bosco School for their service towards humanity not only in normal times but also in a pandemic situation that the world is facing now where many people are hesitating to come forward to lend a helping hand. He thanked the Parish Priest and all the fraternity of Don Bosco School, Sechu Zubza and the Catholic community in general. Setting up of COVID-19 Care centres in the rural areas are contemplated by the Government in the worst case scenario.

       The SDO Civil also informed that Government High School Zubza will be converted into facility quarantine for the doctors and Front line workers in due course of time. He futher appealed to the people of Western Angami area to come together in prayer as well as in deeds to collectively handle this pandemic since a time has come where everyone should be responsible.

        The village authorities and NGOs of Sechu Zubza area have also expressed their gratitude to the Parish Priest.
