Principal Director, Directorate of School Education, Shanavas C, IAS, has notified that the Department of School Education, Nagaland has decided to organize the following Online Mode Contests for students of classes 6 to 7 for celebration of 75 years of India’s Independence (AzadiKaAmrutMahotsav) at three levels (School, District and State levels) during the period 1st July 2021 to 15th August 2021.

 

1.  Essay/CreativeWritingCompetition on the following Topics:

  • Classes I to V: ‘ Events leading to India’s Independence from British Rule and role of various freedom fighters in it’.( Maximum 500 words)
  • Classes VI & VII: ‘Analysis of India’s struggle for Independence – different schools of freedom movement from 1857 to 1947’. ( Maximum 800 words)

2.  Innovative Practices Competition: Video Presentations on Projects/Models/Activities undertaken by students( Videos of maximum 10 minutes duration) on the following Themes. 

  • Classes I to V: ‘Vision forFuture’.
  • Classes VI & VII: Contribution of individuals to nation-building’.

 

In this regard, Heads of all Schools (Both Govt. & Private)  having classes 1 to 7 are hereby informed to organize the above mentioned competitions through Online mode from 7th to 20th July 2021 and submit best three School Level entries of each category to respective District Education Officers before 26th July 2021.

 

The District Education Officers shall select best three District Level entries from each category and forward to the Directorate of School Education through Google Drive( Link will be informed separately) before 31st July 2021.

 

Best three State Level entries from each category will be declared on 15th August 2021 through https://dosenl.in and https://www.facebook.com/DoSENL.

 

AWARDS:

    1. Schools shall award Prizes/Certificates of Appreciation to best three School Level entries in each category and issue Certificates of Participation to all School Level Participants.
    2. District Education Officers shall award Prizes/Certificates of Appreciation to best three District Level entries in each category and issue Certificates of Participation to all District Level entries.
    3. The Directorate of School Education shall award Prizes/Certificates of Appreciation to best three State Level entries in each category and issue Certificates of Participation to all State Level entries.
