District Task Force Kiphire organized a meeting on 27th April at DPDB hall with Deputy Commissioner Sarita Yadav as chairperson.

MS Kiphire gave briefing on responsive mechanism in the case suspected Covid-19 and informed that mock drill will be conducted. According to the guidelines of the Government,members of ANMs, ASHAs, AWWs and Red Cross Society were trained and have been undertaking the duties. She said that more trainings will be imparted to the Veterinary Doctors on 'clinical case' and 'cluster containment' on 30th April and on the same day, a training on 'contact tracing' would be imparted to Police personnel.

4898 bags received for Kiphire District under PMGKAY for April has been delivered to Pungro, Seyochung & Sitimi administrative head quarters. And 4898 bags allocated under PMGKAY and PHH/AAY is presently available in the godown at Kiphire as informed by ADS Kiphire.

Excluding the saloons, hotels, shops have been allowed to open from next marketing day i.e Wednesday from morning 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. DTF chairperson has reminded that all precautionary measures have to observed during shopping hours adhering to the Government guidelines such as social distancing and using of sanitizers.Vehicular movements are also restricted till 3rd of May.

DEO Kiphire informed the members that online study materials have been despatched to the students of Government schools. Under Mid Day Meal Scheme, rice and other food items are being distributed to the students

DDMO reported that 1469 bags of rice were received under NSDMA and has been distributed to the migrant labourers, daily wage workers.
