Noklak District Task Force on COVID-19 held a meeting on 18th September 2021 under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner, Noklak, Hiazu Meru at DC Conference Hall, Noklak.

While encouraging the COVID-19 vaccination, Deputy Commissioner, Noklak, Hiazu Meru said, vaccination is the only way for tackling COVID-19 pandemic. Even though, the district is not having proper medical facilities we should continue our efforts to vaccinate more people so that somehow we can avert the worst case scenario. Hiazu Meru, stressed on the upcoming festive season which is approaching near and on this, DC requested the citizens to maintain COVID-19 appropriate behaviour in all the functions and programmes.

Hiazu Meru highlighted on the latest SOPs guidelines and procedures of the government. DC also expressed his sincere appreciation to all the frontline workers and the officers of the district for taking extra miles in controlling the spread of COVID-19 in the district.

During the meeting, the house discussed thoroughly on the COVID-19 care center, Covid19 check Gate, Taxi service, COVID-19 hospital and opening of Schools as per the government guidelines.
