District Task Force on COVID-19 Noklak held a meeting on 30th November 2021 at DC’s Conference Hall, Noklak under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner And Chairman DTF on Covid-19 Noklak,  Hiazu Meru.

Meru highlighted on the overall Covid-19 pandemic situation and also mentioned on Omicron variant which is very serious and of grave concern for everyone. With the upcoming festive season, he urged the citizens of Noklak District to take vaccine and maintain appropriate COVID-19 behaviour. While encouraging the gathering, he requested all the team members to go for extra miles to achieve 100 vaccination in the district and strict checking as per the SOPs guidelines by all the teams. DC requests the teams to intensified Covid-19 vaccination in the district for all the eligible persons before the Christmas.

Senior Medical Officer, District Hospital, Noklak, Dr. Victor NC highlighted on the on-going Door to Door Covid-19 vaccination drive in the district. Dr. Victor opined to have more awareness and sensitisation camp in certain pockets of the district.

EAC Noklak, Kathyinla expressed on the social gatherings during the festive season and strict implementation of checking has to be continued.
