Enforcement drive on sale of tobacco products within 100 yards of educational institutions was conducted on 23rd February 2022 at Mon by the Enforcement team consisting of the members from Administration, Excise Department, Police Department, Mon Town Council and Konyak Students’ Union, Mon. The team was led by, District Consultant, National Tobacco Control Program Mon, E. Nyeamying Konyak. 

Seven (7) shops were penalized for selling tobacco products near educational institutions. The team seized the products and later destroyed in the outskirt area of the town.
