An EVM/VVPAT Demonstration using the Mobile Demonstration Van for EVM/VVPAT was carried out in Chumoukedima Town Area on 11th January 2023.

With the initiative of District Election Office Chumoukedima, a live demonstration of how Electronic Voting Machines and the Voter Verified Paper Audit Trial machines work was conducted to clear doubts and apprehension regarding electronic voting machines. Every effort was being made to sensitize the public on how the machines work and also to let them know their voting rights. The demonstration was carried out at Chumoukedima 2nd Gate Auto stand, by Master Trainer, Bodevi Shuya. While EAC, Chumoukedima, Dziesengunuo Mere, and Dobashis were also present at the demonstration.
