District administration and Mahila Shakti Kendra, Longleng organized a felicitation program for meritorious girl students of the recently declared results of the HSLC & HSSLC examinations, 2021 at DC’s conference hall, Longleng   on 24th July 2021under the programme "Beti Bachao Beti Padhao".

Deputy Commissioner Longleng, M.Shayung Phom in his short speech encouraged the students to work hard and to have ambition in life. He spoke on the importance of giving special preference to girl child education and also appreciated the teachers for their contribution towards the success of the meritorious students.

Education Secretary PSC, Longleng, Purtoshi, congratulated and wished the students a bright future. Keynote address was delivered by SDO (C) Longleng, Trongdiba Sangtam, where he highlighted about the BBBP programme.

A total of 34 meritorious girl students under Longleng District were awarded with cash prize & meritorious certificate. The program was chaired by WWO MSK Longleng, Phungla Phom.
