Women Entrepreneurs Network Nagaland successfully conducted a Financial Literacy workshop for women-led businesses in Mokokchung on 17th July 2023.

WENN organized a financial literacy workshop in the Mokokchung district on 17th July 2023, aligning with WENN's theme of Financial literacy in partnership with the State Bank of India (SBI). This is the 5th district in a series of workshops that will be held in nine districts of Nagaland in 2023. The resource person for the workshop was Viliezoto Neikha, Assistant Branch Manager of SBI Mokokchung Town, who covered the topic of financial literacy in detail. The workshop provided insights into financial management, types of accounts, loans, credit scores, and other essential aspects of financial literacy for entrepreneurs.

Tsuvise Phoji, Deputy Commissioner of Mokokchung, addressed the participants during the workshop. He recommended WENN for its efforts in establishing a network with local women entrepreneurs and emphasized the importance of collaboration and unity among them. He stressed that Mokokchung offers ample opportunities for entrepreneurs' growth, referring to Mokokchung as the "land of pioneers," and urged the entrepreneurs to explore the potential for business expansion beyond the district into neighboring areas. Women Entrepreneurs Network Nagaland is committed to organizing more events to support and empower women entrepreneurs in Nagaland.
