Deputy Commissioner Zunheboto in a circular stated that in pursuance to the Directorate of the Fire & Emergency Services, Nagaland, Kohima letter No. FHQ/FPAW-1/2022-23/390 dated Kohima, the 24th August 2022 regarding identification and inspection of Government and Private buildings as per National Building Code 2016 Part IV (Fire & Life Safety), the concerned departments, institutions, private high-rise buildings, etc. have been informed that the Fire & Emergency Services will be performing fire safety inspection from 19th September to 04th October as per the schedule.

Therefore, all concerned have been requested to co-operate with the inspection team in order to mitigate and avoid fire hazards and incidents.
