The 40th Assam Rifles stationed in Wokha has announced the commencement of firing tests/practices at the Assam Rifle Firing Range (New Land), Wokha. The practice sessions will take place from 15th July to 31st July 2023.

In light of this, all adjoining colonies and villages within the 40th Assam Rifles Firing Range area have been requested to ensure their distance from the firing range/zone. This precautionary measure is essential to prevent any potential harm to human lives, livestock, and property.
