The first batch of indigenous Nagas, stranded in Mokokchung due to COVID-19 lockdown started their journey back to their home district from today 7th May 2020.  Today, 3 Buses to Mon, one Bus to Dimapur and a Bus to Tuensang were sent off from Mokokchung NST Station. All the Buses and NST complex was sanitized by MMC sanitation workers and all passengers were screened by Medical Staff before boarding the Buses.

In yet another significant move, the pastors of Mokokchung Town Baptist Church (MTBA) reached the NST station and prayed for the passengers for their safe journey. The pastors along with the church workers also handed over lunch packages to all the passengers.
