The First District - Level Inter -School Sepaktakraw Tournament 2026 was organised by All Nagaland Private Schools Association Noklak Unit in collaboration with the Department of Youth Resources and Sports under the Theme "Unity Through Sport: Reviving the Traditional Kick". The tournament was held on 7th September 2026 at Public Ground, Noklak.

Speaking as the chief guest, President of the Khiamniungan Students Union, headquarters Noklak, Shangchiu said, sports have the power to inspire, unite people and create hope where there was once despair. He stressed the importance of fair play and good sportsmanship, where sports give room for opportunities despite any discrimination and encouraged the students to overcome personal challenges before seeking to change others. Later, he kicked off the tournament open.

Holy Angels School begged the championship of the tournament, after which they will represent the District in the State level Sepaktakraw tournament. The participating team include St. Paul School and Christian Higher Secondary School.

Other highlights of the programme include a welcome note delivered by P. Chongtin, President of the ANPSA Noklak Unit, a special presentation by Jesham K. of Christian Higher Secondary School and the administration of the oath by Suko Khiam, Assistant Teacher, St. Paul School, Noklak.

Earlier, the programme was chaired by Asoni of St. Paul School, Noklak, Invocation by Tiajungba Ao,Pastor. Ao Baptist Church, Noklak. Later, vote of thanks was said by Fr. John, Vice President, ANPSA, Noklak unit.
