State Bank of India Longleng branch along with Bank officials from Jorhat headed by Deputy General Manager Jorhat, Jitendra Kant Thakur, Chief Manager, FI RBO Mokokchung, Kreho Athili and Hatneikim Gangte Imsong (LDM) and the team from Mokokchung, District Administration Longleng and Department of RD conducted first Special Credit Outreach Program on PM - Kisan Samman Nidhi on 10th September 2022 at Bhumnyu Village under Longleng district.

Jitendra Kant Thakur, Deputy General Manager Jorhat gave a brief highlight on PM- Kisan loan.

Trongdipa Tongpi Sangtam SDO (civil) urged the genuine beneficiaries to avail of the loans but also recover the amount and the interest on time given by the bank to avoid confusion between the beneficiaries and the bank, this also builds a healthy relationship between the two. Bank also provides loans for various programmes but misusing the benefit should be avoided. He also requested educated youth and council members to help the beneficiaries in filling up the forms to avail of the loan.

The programme was attended by government officials and beneficiaries of Bhumnyu village Longleng.  It will be conducted in other villages till 29th September 2022 under the Longleng district.
