At Thonoknyu eight Kgs of free food grains was distributed per person on 1st May 2020 which was initiated by the Joint Forum GBs, Adhoc Town Committee and DBs. The Forum thanked the government and the MLA for distributing the free ration for two months in the lockdown period.
